It’s a good book. I  read novels a lot, so this book was different from what I’m used to. I had expected a history textbook format. The light read format made the book easier to digest, especially how she broke it down into subtopics.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book, so much so that I read it twice. My ratings:
1. Readability 8/10
2. Understandability 9/10
3. Enjoyability 8/10
4. Flow 8/10

I enjoyed learning about how colonialism impacted our minds and cultures. The book itself makes the reader aware of the African systems that the colonialists broke down, it really brings a shift to the mind. I liked how Colisile started the book by highlighting the current affairs because that makes the mind receptive to the information that follows. Also, by sharing her experiences as an author, she became relatable. More real. “

“What an enchanting read. This book actually was written for me. From my fears and contradictions about Christianity, to the pain of how Africans have been tortured, physically, mentally and otherwise to my issues anous financial trauma. Your love for “africaness”, African heritage and african Descent is infectious.” This book is deep, painful, relatable and adaptable. Its a dictionary on exactly why africans still have yokes around their necks and heads. I couldnt put it down honestly. Its a must read for today’s youth. Coli your research and relevance is brilliant, well sought and real! i am humbled to have had the honour of reading this great african autobiography. Coli take a bow!

“I could spend my whole life selling this book to ensure the whole continent of Africa gets a copy of it. From as young as primary school-going children (8-year-olds or below) to as old as pensioners (our grandparents), because this is exactly what Africa needs now to break through the trade wars, thrive through the 4th Industrial Revolution and Trump’s idea of making America great again. If we could read this book, Africa could be restored as a whole, as it becomes the best-selling book for the next 10 years.

— Fortunate Dlamini, Eswatini

“Reading Coli’s Book, ‘Black People Get Your Money Right,’ was like having a very frank conversation with a financially wise friend who genuinely wants to see me win. From the very first chapter, I felt really challenged and empowered. I like the fact that she doesn’t sugarcoat the realities facing Black communities when it comes to money—but rather presents them with clarity, urgency, and most importantly, hope.”
